Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for managing the relationship with the Employment Law solicitors; managing the employment law budget and working closely with them where necessary on Employment Law changes.
• Oversee the Right to work Sponsorship under tier 2 and be the Level 1 user. Advice on the immigration changes and provides support to the People Team on this area and to ensure that we are compliant with right to work legislation.
• Working closely with the Head of People Operations and the Senior People Team you will proactively plan and deliver Training workshops to develop and up skill the wider People Department and brain storming sessions with the solicitors for the Senior People Team and representatives of the wider People Team.
• You will be responsible for guiding and supporting the HR Business Partners on all complex ER problems and issues and communicating out best practice on these areas.
• With a wealth of ER experience you will support the wider HR team on all aspects of ER focusing on Early Conciliation and Employment Tribunals, coaching and advising on all stages from preparation to creation of witness statements.
• It’s an exciting and varied role where no two days are the same, this means you learn a lot, you are part of a bigger team across Superdrug, Savers and AS Watson Health and Beauty UK which means you get exposure to lots of different areas of law and businesses.
• Your development is really important to us and its key that you have a curiosity to learn about new law and cases coming through the tribunals and impart this knowledge to our teams.

Reqirements:

• CIPD qualified
• You will have experience working on bigger company wide projects and initiatives.

• The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate extensive experience in managing complex ER issues and have a proven track record in developing relationships with senior management and project management.
