Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Keeps the Data Glossary up to date and confirms changes in definitions to the relevant Data owner(s)
  • Ensures that data adheres to definitions that have been agreed by the Data owner(s)
  • Ensure that a standard, repeatable process is set for Vendor reporting
  • Monitors Data Quality to ensure that it meets the stipulated quality targets
  • Defines and Manages remediation where data quality metrics are breached
  • Defines Data Standards and Business Rules to ensure adherence to agreed Data Standards & quality targets
  • Ensures adherence with the end-to-end Data lifecycle
  • Oversees the implementation of Business Rules for data capture / creation / change / deletion
  • Oversees the implementation of data security as part of the system and business processes
  • Facilitates the work groups necessary to drive improvements to data quality, processes and procedures
  • Key partner and member of the Vendor Data Governance Forum

Requirements:

  • Previous experience SAP and/or other central data systems is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey information succinctly and concisely
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build relationships and work effectively with others at all levels across the business
