Position Title: Executive Recruiter

Job Description:

The Executive Recruiter is an integral partner of our Talent Acquisition team for delivering top Executive talent to a wide variety of disciplines within the City of Dallas. As a member of our Talent Acquisition team, you will be a full-cycle Executive Recruiter working with leaders on the recruitment of executive level leaders, initiating strategic recruitment plans, cultivating relationships with current and of potential Executives and delivering best in class service for the City of Dallas.

Responsibilities:

  •  Leads Executive Recruitment efforts for the City of Dallas on all Executive level positions.
  • Ensures a consistent process while working with leaders and stakeholders to deliver a thorough recruitment process from end to end.
  • Identifies opportunities and recommending solutions.
  • Works with Hiring Leader and HR Partner to ensure accurate job description
  • Completes Intake session with Hiring Leader.
  • Posts positions in NEOGOV and Workday as well as outside industry specific Career Boards or publications
  • Leverages Executive Recruiting firm, if specified by hiring leader, act as liaison between the recruiting firm and the City to ensure consistency and efficiency of the process.
  • Ensures proactive communication through recruiting process; disposition and refer all qualified candidates to hiring manager.
  • Identify interview questions from hiring leader and create interview packets for the interview team consisting of Interview Questions, Ranking Form and Evaluation Manual.
  • Acts as the driving force for progressing candidates through the process and advising leaders on decision making.
  • Schedules all interviews both virtually and on-site.
  • Mediates interviews with the interview team and individual Executive level candidates.
  • Works with Onboarding team to finalize offer letter and background screening paperwork. 14. Conducts personalized New Hire Orientation for the Executive.
  • Regular, reliable and punctual attendance is an essential function of the job.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or social science field.
  • Three (3) years of increasingly responsible technical and/or professional experience performing human resources duties which include recruitment and selection, background check compliance or onboarding.
  • Prior experience working in Executive Recruiting and supporting Senior Leadership required
  • High school diploma or GED plus seven (7) years of the required experience will meet the education and experience requirements.
  • Associate degree in any field plus five (5) years of the required experience will meet the education and experience requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a non-specified field plus five (5) years of the required experience will meet the education and experience requirements.
  • Master’s degree (or higher) in a specified field plus one (1) year of the required experience will meet the education and experience requirements.
  • Human resources experience highly desired. Proficient in the use of applicant tracking systems (ATS) & HRIS systems preferably NEOGOV and  Workday.   Working knowledge of hiring best practices, policies, procedures, and employment law.
