Job Description:

The Educational Psychology Service is made up of a team where psychology is at the heart of all aspects of work.  We work primarily with children and young people going through the EHCNA process and offer a Consultation Service for those with EHCPs.  We are also involved in supporting the work of the Virtual School. We provide training and support in a range of areas, including Emotional Literacy Support Assistants and supervision for school staff and other professionals, for example the early years Area SENCOs.  The EPS was highly regarded in the Joint SEND Inspection carried out by Ofsted in March 2019.The Educational Psychology Service is made up of a team where psychology is at the heart of all aspects of work.  We work primarily with children and young people going through the EHCNA process and offer a Consultation Service for those with EHCPs.  We are also involved in supporting the work of the Virtual School.   • This is a rolling advert and applications will be reviewed on a regular basis.
  • We have permanent positions available for full-time and part-time main grade posts.
  • We welcome experienced Educational Psychologists as well as those who will be completing their Doctorate training this year.

  • We work collaboratively with parent/carers, educational setting staff and other professionals working closely with children and young people.
