Position Title:Recruitment Assistant

Job Description:

As a Recruitment Assistant, you will be involved in the screening of online applications and video applications across multiple business areas, leading assessment centres for external candidates, answering recruitment related queries, business reporting and working with the wider business to uphold best practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Application and video interview screening for Stores, Logistics and Office based applications.
  • Act as the first point of contact for the applicant tracking system and recruitment related queries.
  • Headhunt for prospective candidates via several sources.
  • Analyse recruitment requirements and interpret data to assess both current and future vacancies, identifying where additional marketing and PR support may be needed and liaise with the relevant parties to initiate this additional media support.
  • Analyse the effectiveness of recruitment marketing campaigns and making recommendations for changes.
  • Hiring Manager support and data analysis.
  • Write and produce any reports or research documents as and when is requested in both a timely and professional format.
  • Assist with the development and testing of all applicant tracking systems.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in recruitment, with a wider commercial awareness for retail recruitment/HR.
  • Ability to plan ahead to meet deadlines with a high level of personal organisation.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to take complex information and deliver in a simplified manner.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Educated to GCSE level in Maths and English or equivalent.
  • Analytical thinker.

  • Flexible to adapt to the demands of an ever-changing business environment.
