Responsibilities:

  • Take a quantitative approach towards student recruitment and conversion rates, identifying patterns, trends, underlying reasons and potential improvements or solutions
  • Engage with partners to maximise data sharing and optimization, including the development of analytics based on learners demographics
  • Champion data skills, acting as an ambassador for data driven approaches and marginal data skills improvement across the Student Recruitment and Student Operations teams
  • Continuously produce insight on distance learners across the UK and International partnerships, positioning Pearson as the expert OPM provider for both current and prospective partners
  • Establish relevant benchmarks and KPIs for success in Student Recruitment across different products and markets

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical skills – ability to manipulate data and conduct analysis to provide meaningful, actionable insights
  • Exceptional business partnering skills. Able to work with and present to all levels of seniority
  • Advanced tableau visualisation skills
  • Advanced Excel/Modelling skills required
  • Inquisitive nature; pro-active approach to thinking through and solving problems
  • Focus on quality and smart ways of working
  • Strong communication skills: the ability to convey information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message.
