Job Description:

The Retail Management team is responsible for setting strategies and executing delivery on: Product licensing Product design and approval Retail pricing Store operations Revenue and profit targets Retail marketing and promotional activity; plus Visual merchandising Stadium Tours and Museum There is an inherent passion to drive new and different retail activity on an ongoing basis. The ambition is to be the world’s best football club operation, not necessarily the biggest. Benchmarking against the best in class international retailers is more relevant than against other football clubs. .

Responsibilities:

  • Implementing and driving activities in store ensuring the delivery of the operations pillar strategy as laid down in the Retail Operations Plan and as directed by the Retail Team Manager encompassing: Sales Service People Standards (Compliance & Regulatory.)
  • Costs Best Companies Survey Deputizing for the Team Leader & Team Manager as and when required.
  • Directly being responsible for managing the overall operation of the store in their absence.
  • Embrace & demonstrate strong leadership qualities in line with the company’s vision and values Be self-driven and motivated with a can-do attitude and the desire to make a real difference.
  • Able to deliver targeted KPI’s & P&L lines within area of control and as directed by the Retail Operations Manager.
  • Capable of contributing ideas and solutions which support the Retail Operational Plan by driving performance & maintaining costs within your area of control and as directed by the Retail Operations Manager.
  • Supporting the Team Leader and Team manager to ensure the operation & delivery of store events and match day & Kiosks.
  • Liaison with the Retail Operations Manager and HO functions as required.
  • Effective team co-ordination, being an ambassador for change, help the Team Leader and Team Manager create a culture which embraces change and will challenge the status quo to help drive sales, profit & the fan/customer experience.
  • Challenges section coordinators and sets pace for action Delivers clear & concise feedback, conducts reviews and checks for clarity.
  • Embraces change, demonstrates the behaviors of a change ambassador around their management team.
  • Is held accountable for individual behaviors and those of the team.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by your Line Manager.
  • Match/Event responsibilities and organization Ensure we have the slickest & best in class match day store operation

Requirements:

  • Operating in a high-street retail environment.
  • Directly line Managing circa 4 heads.
  • Indirectly coordinating the activities of circa 50 workers Understanding commercial needs support the Team Leader and Team Manager to drive sales, service, cost control and fan experience.
  • Experienced in driving a team to deliver. Sales. 1st Class Service. Store Standards. Cost Control. Stock management. Visual Merchandising. Behavioral expectations
  • Proven experience in Shop floor and Window Visual Merchandising.
  • Ability to make commercial decisions based upon company trade reports.
