Job Description:

The Boulder County Clerk and Recorder’s Office provides the best in public service throughout all divisions this Office oversees: Motor Vehicle, Recording, and Elections. We have an outstanding reputation in fulfilling this mission, and we are seeking a Bilingual Motor Vehicle Administrative Technician who will bring their passion for public service to ensure excellent service for our citizens. Responsibilities:

  • Ensures compliance with state statute and rules and CR processes and policies for areas of responsibility
  • Assists the public with vehicle title and registration procedures asking appropriate questions to determine course of actions.
  • Assists public in person, email and on the phone providing information that requires interpretation of State statues, rules and regulations
  • Demonstrates skillful public relations when working with the public
  • Completes VIN inspections
  • Balances cash drawer each day correctly
  • Processes mail and time stamp mortgage documents
  • Logs and track all documents coming into or going out of the office on specified tracking log
  • Updates SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
  • Assists with special projects
  • Conducts self in a professional manner and works within a team, as a team member
  • Participates in regular 1:1’s; bringing ideas, concerns and solutions
  • Participates in regular staff meetings; positive solution focus ideas while celebrating and contributing to the team success

Requirements:

  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to research and interpret statute
  • Able to assist members of the public all day while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Basic Word and Outlook
  • Working knowledge of modern office practices and procedures, and departmental policies and regulations
  • Skill in operating office equipment and personal computers to meet the demands of the position
  • Ability to work effectively with other employees and the public
