Responsibilities:
- Manage sourcing the process and running effective competitions amongst selected suppliers.
- Manage effective evaluations of proposals.
- Lead contractual negotiations.
- Support Project Managers in supplier management and performance.
- Set direction for development of new or improved policies and procedures.
- Ensure effective communications with suppliers during opportunities and more in general as part of the pro-active management of the provider network.
- Manage supplier events and other targeted supplier feedback opportunities as appropriate.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of strategic sourcing & supplier management processes and principles.
- A good understanding of the project lifecycle.
- Able to interpret and communicate customer requirements.
- Proven leadership skills.
- Strong commercial awareness.
- Experience of managing business risks and opportunities.
- Good communication skills at all levels; both written and verbal.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Experience with data analysis.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills.
